Earl Weaver

Manager of Baltimore Orioles (1968-1982 and 1985-1986; Win-Loss Record: 1480-1060).
Inducted into the Orioles Hall of Fame in 1983.
Inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1996.
Would not allow his pitchers to throw at opposing hitters.
Was not only once thrown out of both games of a double-header, but was thrown out of the second game before it even began!.
Despite the fact that the two did not get along on the field, former AL umpire Ron Luciano had a lot of respect for Weaver and considered him a great manager, one who was worthy of enshrinement in the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Died on a cruise ship in the Caribbean Sea.
