Biography

  • William J Brent, born in Tucson, Arizona, born (William J. Brent) to Laura Diaz. He is an American actor and multidisciplinary artist whose work spans prestige television, feature films, and emerging digital formats. He moved to Queens, New York at the age of 3 with his aunt, Patricia Sanchez, where he was raised until the age of 7. He then moved to Brooklyn, New York with his mother at the age of 7, to a house in Bensonhurst in an Israelite (Hebrew/Jewish) neighborhood. Both raised and cultivated in New York, he established a prestigious image that brings the city great honor.

He later attended the School for the Gifted, Abraham Lincoln High School, as an honor roll student, after graduating from the Jr. High School of Performing Arts, where he played the lead role of Tony and earned the Performing Arts Achievement Award (Exceptional Actor’s Performance Award) upon graduation, alongside a $40,000 scholarship bestowed by President Bill Clinton. He then attended Brooklyn College and transferred to the School of Modern Arts. It was at this point that he was invited to and enrolled in a Global Studies private program that cultivated his philosophical and global academic development.

Dedicated to New York, he loyally represents and inspires other New Yorkers to become all that they can be; amplifying their unique skills and abilities, helping them become better individuals than they were before as an online mentor regime, and guiding them in cultivating their own crafts through unique self expression.

Known for his grounded emotional presence and disciplined physicality, Brent brings a dynamic blend of authenticity, intensity, and versatility to every production he joins.

His expanding screen portfolio includes roles across major studio projects and acclaimed television series. Brent appears in A Quiet Place Part III 2027 as Master Sergeant Reed, National Guard, and in the upcoming action feature FAST 2027 as a PFC in the US Army Rangers, 75th Regiment. He is featured in The Diplomat Season 4 Episode 1 2026 as a Videographer, and in the upcoming film Fight for 84 as part of the LA Sports Arena Crowd. He also appears in Power Origins Season 1 Episode 1 as an Aqueduct Attendee & Gambler.

Brents previous credits include The Gilded Age Season 3 Episode 8 2025 where he portrayed an Upper Class Member, and the vertical format mini series After Awakening Siblings Strike Back 2024 playing an Elite Executive & Rosies Bodyguard. He also appeared in The Paley Center Salutes Law & Order SVU 2020 as a Boxing Fan.

Raised in New York, Brent discovered his passion for acting in junior high school, earning the lead role of Tony in West Side Story at The School of Performing Arts. His performance earned him the Exceptional Actors Performance Award, followed by a $40,000 scholarship from President Bill Clinton. Alongside his early artistic development, he trained extensively in martial arts, including Muay Thai, Ju Jitsu, Aikido, Judo, and Pakwa, disciplines that continue to inform his physical approach to performance.

He later pursued higher education at Brooklyn College & The School of Modern Art, where he was invited into a prestigious global studies program that broadened his worldview and deepened the philosophical foundation behind his craft. With a background that merges physical discipline, artistic expression, and cultural study, Brent is committed to bringing a fresh multidimensional approach to contemporary film and television.

Outside of his professional work, he is a devoted father to his two children, Amitiel Brent and Raziel Brent, and remains dedicated to contributing positively to society and to building a safer, more inspired world for future generations.
