Brittany fell onto and into love with being on set during the filming of 'The Florida Project' as a Magic Castle Resident from Orlando.
Destined to be a Cast Member at the Walt Disney World Resort surely and then on to California's Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood, she performed with a full time role of 'Snow White' for a decade, Sally for the entirety of her theme park face character career (she prefers being blue), Mary Poppins, who taught her how to be kind and firm all at once and of course, the iconic Marilyn Monroe, approved by her estate- what an absolute honor.
With a masterclass in grace, poise, character integrity, no tattoos, loyalty, patience and quick on your feet improv, she went on to find work as a featured extra in 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Season 3 (Miami!!)' and 'The Right Stuff (2020)' both taking place in one of her favorite eras, the late 1950s..
After showing up to set in vintage clothing appropriate to the era head to toe (she worked for a local vintage shop for many years, sorting clothing and researching what makes each decade unique) she was asked to continue working on the project as a costume PA and loved every single second.
She has gone on to work within the cast of the feature film 'The Blue Rose,' SXSW official selected short 'Neuro' directed by Wes Ellis (on and off screen as an actor, costumer and set decorator) and has starred in music videos for the likes of Danny Elfman alongside Boy Harsher and She Past Away's 'Inziva' with Muted Widows.
With 10+ student films and thesis projects in post-production affiliated with SCAD during the last two years.. Brittany has lead 'SHIFT' by Lucca Viera (20+ festivals, 'The Beverly Hills Film Festival, with a 'Best Performance' nomination at South Florida's Popcorn Frights) 'Into The Blue' by Laura Jameson, a full circle moment where she could reunite with the planes she first met during 'The Right Stuff' while filming at Kermit Week's Fantasy of Flight in 'Orlampa'. 'Where the Wicked Prosper', 'The Hunger', 'MUSE', 'Red Herring', 'This is Not A Burial', 'The Girl Who Fell To Earth', 'Scrap', 'Taxidermy', 'Park Plaza Cinema's own Nicole Kidman', phew.. and of course, three separate featured extra roles in Judd Apatow and Glen Powell's 'The Comeback King' debuting in February, 2027.
Brittany Ball is clearly quite hungry to tell a good story and doesn't intend to stop any time soon. She has always been committed to the plot, following her heart and dedicating herself to every side quest (such as staying on to work in aircraft reservation well after wrap at an airplane hangar because she might just play a pilot, one day) and to the research towards information required to play complex and messy women in any genre (although she does have a deep love for horror and period pieces..)
Brittany cares about every aspect and person involved in creating a good scene, from start to finish- always leaving set and the family that forms with each one, much much better than she found them.
"There is nothing quite like the energy of being on set, doing whatever it takes to make the idea happen. I'll paint, I'll build, I'll cry, I'll sleep on the floor to do it. I prefer it, actually."
