Biography

Barry Haigh was born on January 17, 1938 in Leicester, England, UK. He was an actor and writer, known for Police Story (1985), Armour of God (1986) and Righting Wrongs (1986). He died on October 26, 2006 in Loon Lake, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

A voice-acting veteran in Hong Kong of over 20 years, he was fondly remembered by his fellow voice actors for his gentle personality, and being very easy to work with. He was also a TV/radio presenter and journalist. He had retired from the industry in the late 1980s, and moved to Canada ever after.

Had died of a heart attack while fishing from a small boat on Loon Lake in Vancouver, Canada.

Among his many English dubbing credits, one of his most well known is the dubbing voice of Bruce Lee in the martial arts film classic, The Way of the Dragon (1972).
