Maria Ponomariova is a film director and performance artist from Belarus, based in Berlin. Since 2019, she has actively engaged in screen dance and conducted movement laboratories, creating films using a documentary-artistic method.
Through her practice, she explores "the space in between" as a way of indirectly yet precisely immersing herself into environments filled with mystical elements, connections, and coincidences.
