Biography

Shannon Kingston grew up on Long Island and began acting by starring in her 8th grade play, "Oklahoma", as "Laurie". She later joined the Herberger College of Fine Arts at Arizona State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Summers off were spent at NYU Tisch's Stonestreet Studios. Shannon studies at The Groudlings, The Howard Fine Acting Studio, Scott Sedita for 1/2 hour comedy, and Stella Adler Technique.

Was cast as the lead in Buried Alive (1989) right out of college but decided she didn't want to do the partial nudity at the time.

Shannon and her husband Luke co own the Red Sonja LLC comic book franchise.
