- Lauretta was born into an Italian family and grew up in West Hampstead in London. She did her Classical Acting Course at The London Academy of Perfoming Arts and obtained her B.A. Lauretta is a Meisner Trained Actress. She is fluent in English,Italian and French.
Theatre credits include Playing Liz in "The News, She Said" at The Young Vic Theatre and Playing Alison in "Battersea Mens Home" at Soho Theatre. Classics include playing Ophelia in "Hamlet", Lucetta in "The two Gentlemen of Verona", Elena in "Uncle Vanya and Mrs Bradman in "Blithe Spirit".
Lauretta is part of the Impulse Theatre Company creating new work with American Director Scott Williams.

- Lauretta met up with Director Helen Grace and went to the Cannes film festival in 2003. They met JC Mac and Chico Slimani and one night at a bar an idea for a short film was born by originally starting out as a joke. They got back from Cannes and "Winner Takes All" was written and filmed. Semi Finalist for Best Short Fiction at the Action Cut USA Awards 2004.
