Vaughn Jelks III is a talented and upcoming filmmaker who is studying at UNLV's Department of Film and is already making a name for himself. He's the son of actor-writer Vaughn Tyree Jelks. His godfather is director Nimrod Antal. Vaughn III was born and raised in Santa Monica, California and had an early, unique exposure to Hollywood. Because of that, he always knew he wanted to work in the entertainment industry. He has a creative eye and an artistic mind. Vaughn III's visual influences are Roger Deakins, Ryan Coogler, and Bong Joon Ho. He's developed his own signature future film noir style.
In addition to his impressive cinematography skills, Vaughn III is a solid screenwriter, and an on-set wizard. In addition to several of his own personal projects, he recently worked on independent short film drama "Brother", directed by Krishan Menon. Vaughn's cinematic talent, intuitive knowledge, and precocious professionalism make him highly sought after. He's looking forward to a promising career.
