Mohini Mohan Dhar
Mohini Mohan Dhar Esq. M.A.B.L. was an Indian Judge, Lawyer, Dewan of Mayurbhanj State from June 20, 1905, to April 21, 1912, First Class Judicial Magistrate and Chief Advisor to Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanj Deo.
During his tenure, he held multiple key positions, including State Judge and Vice-President of the State Council, effectively acting as the chief advisor to Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanj Deo. Dhar played a pivotal role in various administrative reforms and was instrumental in securing the Gorumahisani iron ore lease, which laid the foundation for the Tata Iron and Steel Company.
He had two children- Barrister Dhirendra Mohan Dhar, B.Sc., LL.B., B.P.T.C.; Member, Lincoln's Inn; High Court of Calcutta and Satyendra Mohan Dhar Esq. C.I.E.I.C.S. Secretary to the Government of Bihar, 42nd and 44th Commissioner of Tirhut Division, Bihar.
