- The actor Erich Briese began his film career in 1914 with "Der Prinzenraub" (1914) directed by Stellan Rye with Hugo Flink and Carl Ebert.
- In 1934 followed Erich Briese's only sound film "Wenn ich König wär" (1934).
- In the silent movie era of the 20s followed few more appearances in front of the camera with "Gib mich frei" (1924), and as minister Graf Finkenstein "Der alte Fritz" (1928) directed by Gerhard Lamprecht.
