Reuben Oscar is a British actor and producer based in Northern England, working across independent film and emerging international productions. His work focuses on character-driven stories, often exploring themes of identity and heroism through a range of complex and emotionally driven roles.
He has taken on leading roles across a number of independent projects, including the 90s punk-inspired short Point & Shoot, the supernatural feature Bridal Bay, and the emotional drama Forget Me Not, with several of these projects currently in post-production and awaiting release. His wider experience includes roles in the psycho-sexual thriller Sox, the feature film A Love Story 2, as well as Nosebleed and Breathing Still, and a supporting artist role in Season 2 of the BBC series This City Is Ours.
With multiple projects in development and upcoming releases, Reuben is in an active stage of building his screen portfolio as his work begins to reach wider audiences.
Alongside acting, Reuben serves as the face of the Cerberus Jewellery, and has also appeared in select runway presentations. Expanding beyond performance, Reuben is developing his work as a producer with the production company LuckySeven. As lead producer, he is involved in shaping projects from concept through to execution. He’s a producer and the marketing director for the upcoming absurdist comedy series Ricky’s Garage, currently in production in New York City, and is developing a growing slate of original projects, including the short film Salt, scheduled for production in 2027.
Mental health is a strong focus for Reuben. Through his involvement in charitable initiatives and awareness work, he aims to challenge the stigmas men face and encourage deeper, more open conversations. Across both his acting and business work, he is drawn to stories that feel grounded and honest, and that connect on a human level.
Reuben has a clear interest in the wider business of the industry, with his work across production and creative direction helping to establish his long-term position within it.
