Davison Onyemali, professionally known as Slice, is a Nigerian sound designer, composer, and music producer celebrated for his innovative approach to soundscapes and storytelling. He is the founder of Afri Sound (pre-launch), focused on preserving African cultural heritage through sound design.
Davison holds a B.A. in Music from Delta State University, Abraka, and is an Avid Pro certified specialist. He has won Best Final Mixer and Best Film Music awards from EbonyLife Creative Academy.
He composed music and designed the trailer for the Nigerian film Alakada, produced by Toyin Abraham, and contributed to award-nominated films featured at AFRIFF. A certified sound designer from GameUp Africa, he has created immersive soundscapes for gaming projects.
Driven by a passion for cultural preservation and innovation, Davison combines traditional and modern techniques to craft unique auditory experiences. He also holds certifications in Stage Lighting / Art Business & Entrepreneurship and Sound Design / Art Business & Entrepreneurship from Terra Academy of the Arts.
