Nuria Silván Miracle (Madrid, Spain) is a journalist and audiovisual creator. After developing her professional career in both economic and general-interest media, she joined the Communications Department of CCOO (Workers’ Commissions), where she has worked for more than twenty years creating content in multiple formats, including writing, design, photography, video and digital communication.
Although she defines herself above all as a writer, her interest in human stories and collective memory led her into documentary filmmaking. Her debut film, No apto para cobardes (Only for the brave, 2024), has become a landmark work in the fields of gender perspective and the visibility of women, with more than 60 screenings in Spain and abroad, over ten festival selections and five international awards. The film also received the 2024 PorterAS Social Award for Best Cultural Project Led by a Woman.
In 2026, her second work, the documentary short film Sofoco (Flush), will premiere. It is an intimate and encouraging piece that explores menopause, the female body and aging through an honest, aesthetic and deeply humanistic perspective.
