Alex Dvorak(II)

Alex Dvorak is a Latinx writer, director, and actor. Her autobiographical narrative short film BAD SURVIVOR is an Official Selection of Slamdance Film Festival 2025 in Los Angeles. The dark comedy which she wrote, co-directed, executive produced, and starred in, is inspired by her 24 hours in cancer remission as a teenager. Her writing has been published in The Washington Post, HuffPost, Business Insider, PopSugar, and more. Alex is also the author of an upcoming (2025) YA graphic novel soon to be announced. As the daughter of immigrants from clashing cultures, a teen cancer survivor, and a former runway model, Alex writes stories of teen rebellion based on real-life experiences with authenticity, dark humor, and heart.
