Biography

Emmy award-winning Filmmaker and Film Editor, whose work has been broadcast on channels worldwide and won numerous awards. Awards include 2016 Emmy for Outstanding Documentary Short; Nomination for Craft Editing Award, British Independent film Awards (2017); Grand Jury Prize Sheffield Doc Fest (2016); Grierson Nominated Best Newcomer (2015); Winner of International Documentary Association and Pare Lorentz award (2014).

I look to make powerful narrative films, both observational and scripted drama, involving inspiring characters and complex ideas, which can move people emotionally, inform and educate, and lead to debate around the most important issues facing the world today. Recent work includes directing Channel 4 film 'Lost at Sea' (2020); writing and directing drama doc 'Model Drug Runner' (2019, National Geographic); working as film editor on 'Thatcher A very British Revolution' (2019, BBC); editing 'A Northern Soul' (2018, BBC Storyville) a feature documentary shown in cinemas around the UK and in the House of Commons to MP's.

Social Impact Media Awards, Best Short film - Best Director Short film, 2016.
