James Wert is a Director/Writer/Actor from Providence RI. His films have won awards at nationally recognized film festivals, like Oscar qualifying Independent Shorts Awards & the All American High School Film Festival, been screened at the IMAX headquarters in California, and received numerous other awards. He is best known for his role in the short film "How I Learned To Die" which premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival, and his work as assistant camera on films The Projectionist (2025) & Lump (2024) by Alexandre Rockwell.
