Brian Anthony Moreland is a Tony Award-Nominated Broadway producer and the President of B More Now Productions. Recognized as one of the industry’s leading commercial producers, Moreland has established himself as a champion of artist-driven productions that center acclaimed playwrights, celebrated performers, and culturally significant stories.
His producing credits include the record-breaking Broadway revival of Othello, starring Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal; The Piano Lesson, starring Samuel L. Jackson, John David Washington, and Danielle Brooks; the Broadway revival of The Wiz; and the acclaimed revival of August Wilson’s Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, directed by Debbie Allen and starring Taraji P. Henson, Cedric the Entertainer, Ruben Santiago-Hudson, and Joshua Boone.
Throughout his career, Moreland has collaborated with some of the most respected artists working in theatre, including Debbie Allen, Kenny Leon, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, August Wilson’s estate, Denzel Washington, Tom Hanks, Kelli O’Hara, Jake Gyllenhaal, Samuel L. Jackson, and numerous Tony, Academy Award, Emmy, and Pulitzer Prize-winning creatives.
Known for assembling commercially successful productions with significant artistic impact, Moreland’s work has generated more than $100 million at the Broadway box office. His productions have received critical acclaim and numerous honors, including Tony Award recognition.
Beyond producing, Moreland is committed to expanding access to the American theatre. He is a co-creator of Broadway Celebrates Juneteenth, an annual event presented in partnership with The Broadway League that celebrates Black artistry on Broadway while inspiring the next generation of theatre makers. He has also championed initiatives that bring thousands of students to Broadway performances through partnerships with schools and community organizations.
Moreland has been recognized by Variety as one of its "10 Broadway Players to Watch" and has been honored in EBONY’s Power 100 for his contributions to the entertainment industry.
He continues to develop and produce new plays, musicals, and major Broadway revivals through B More Now Productions while collaborating with leading artists across theatre, film, and television.
