- Luke Macfarlane is a Canadian-American actor and former musician. He is best known for his role as Scotty Wandell on the ABC drama series Brothers & Sisters (2006) and as RAC agent D'avin Jaqobis on the science-fiction series Killjoys (2015).
Macfarlane has appeared in numerous television films, becoming a familiar face in Hallmark productions such as The Birthday Wish (2017), Just Add Romance (2019), Sense, Sensibility & Snowmen (2019), Taking a Shot at Love (2021), Moriah's Lighthouse (2022), and Notes of Autumn (2023).
In 2021, he starred alongside Michael Urie in Netflix's romantic comedy Single All the Way (2021). The following year, he played the romantic lead opposite Billy Eichner in the Universal Pictures romantic comedy Bros (2022). He later joined the cast of the Apple TV+ comedy series Platonic (2023), starring Rose Byrne and Seth Rogen, appearing in both seasons of the series.
In addition to acting, Macfarlane is an accomplished cellist and has incorporated his musical background into several of his screen roles. His longtime interest in woodworking and home renovation also led to his role as host of Hallmark's unscripted series Home Is Where the Heart Is (2025).
Macfarlane became a father in June 2023, when he and his partner, Hig Roberts, welcomed their daughter, Tess Eleanor Macfarlane.
