Darren Dupree Washington was born on May 23, 1971 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. He is an actor and producer, known for The Jungle Book (2016), Fudgy Wudgy Fudge Face (2010) and Godzilla: Final Wars (2004).

He graduated from Australia's National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) with a degree in Performing Arts (Acting) in 2001.

Born in Philadelphia and moved to Brisbane Australia with his mom (Cathy) when he was 2.

Almost dropped out of high school to become a professional tennis player.
