Biography

Babak Haleky is an actor, filmmaker, and musician who calls Vancouver, Canada his home. His artistic journey started during his studies in biology at the University of Windsor, Ontario, before transitioning to a drama major. Upon securing representation in Toronto, Babak began his acting career, eventually relocating to Vancouver in 2006 to pursue his passion for film and music. In 2020, he established Melmin Records, which expanded into Melmin Entertainment by 2023 with the release of his debut short film, The Author. This was soon followed by his second short film, Moving to Japan. Both films have been recognized by numerous film festivals, earning multiple nominations and awards.
