Swedish songbird Jessica Folcker has always been on the verge of international stardom yet, in spite of both talent and opportunity, it has proven to be somewhat ellusive.

A famous beauty in her native Sweden, Jessica began her career as a model in the 1990s. Her smouldering good looks made her very popular. Her Swedish/Senegalese heritage proved to be a winning combination when she won the title of Miss Stockholm by a landslide. Jessica went on to become one of the finalists in the Miss Sweden pagent and during the ceremony made a declaration of intent: she wanted to be a singer.

She realized her goal a few years later with the release of her first single, 'Tell Me What You Like'. Jessica surprised audiences with the her vocal range and edginess. Tragically, Jessica's boyfriend, legendary Swedish producer Denniz Pop, passed away from cancer. In the wake of this terrible loss, his production partner Max Martin continued to produce songs for Jessica. The enjoyed chart success in Scandinavia with the ballad 'How Will I Know Who You Are' and the upbeat rocker 'Crash Like A Wrecking Ball'.

Jessica is still regarded as one of the more talented singers in Sweden with the versatility to sing pop, r&b and rock music. As of 2004, Jessica has turned her back on the big city and settled in the beautiful Swedish country side where she is expecting her first child.

She has a son, Otis Heckscher (born 2009) and a daughter, India Heckscher (born July 7, 2011) with her husband, Daniel Heckscher.

She has a son, Antonio (born 2004) and a daughter, Carla (born March 1, 2006) with her ex-boyfriend, Michele Buzzurro.

Was in a relationship with music producer/songwriter, Denniz Pop, at the time of his death.

Her son, Antonio, has been diagnosed with the autosomal genetic disease, Cystic fibrosis.
