Nelia Rose Holley is a dynamic and versatile actor known for bringing emotional depth, magnetic presence, and sharp intuition to every role she undertakes. With a passion for storytelling that bridges the classical and the contemporary, Nelia has carved a path across stage and screen, embodying characters with authenticity and nuance.
Trained in both traditional acting techniques and modern performance styles, Nelia has appeared in a range of productions spanning drama, comedy, musical, and independent film. Her work is marked by a commitment to truth in performance and a deep respect for collaboration. Whether in front of the camera or on stage, she consistently draws audiences into the heart of the story. Beyond her work as a performer, Nelia is a passionate advocate for inclusive storytelling and diverse representation in the arts. She continues to hone her craft through ongoing training, creative development, and working with forward-thinking directors and artists.
As a recent graduate of Baldwin Wallace University, Nelia has made it her mission to be a part of a plethora of different activities on campus. Some of these include being Chief Theatre Ambassador for the university, a BW Tour Guide, the President of TAP(Theatre Arts and Performance), and a manager at the Groundlings Cafe in the theater building. Nelia was also a member of the Black Student Alliance, as well as the Black Arts Network on campus. Nelia was also inducted into the Epsilon Nu chapter of the National Communication Association's Honor Society of Lambda Pi Eta (LPH).
Her work doesn't stop on campus. Nelia has also been in a number of shows in the Cleveland area, including The Crucible at Blank Canvas Theatre, directed by Patrick Ciamacco, and Say it Loud at The Millennial Theatre Project(Akron Civic Theatre), directed by Francine Parr.
She has also had the opportunity to act in several short films in the area! Her recent credits include Warped(Waitress), directed by Braden Cline, and Welcome to Nowhere(Veritas), directed by Tyler Wood.
Nelia has also begun her career as a film producer and director with her very own film entitled "Visions". Nelia wrote, produced, co-directed, and starred in this film, which will be released later this year.
When not performing, Nelia loves writing, reading, trying new foods(especially sushi), going to the theater to watch movies, and spending time with her amazing friends and family.
