Brendon McDonald(III)

Having graduated from the New England School of Communications at Husson University, Brendon McDonald has worked in a multitude of production roles in both the filmmaking and television production world, serving as Production Assistant, Gaffer, and Director of Photography for various film projects including Mallory (2024), Chapman Speaks (2024), and the upcoming Millennium's Eve (TBD), and fulfilling the roles of Director, Camera Operator, Lighting Technician, Editor, and Production Assistant on programs made for the Portland Media Center. He is specialized in camera operation and lighting, and is experienced in using professional film cameras such as the RED Epic-M Dragon, Blackmagic 6K Pocket Cinema Camera, Canon C200, Sony FX6 and FX3, and Sony A7 IV, while also incorporating rigs like dollies, JIBs, Steadicam, and gimbals into his work. As a lighting technician/gaffer, he has worked with an assortment of lighting kits from ARRI Fresnels to modern LEDs such as Godox and Aputure 600d fixtures.
