Vichitra(I)

Vichitra is an Indian actress known for her work across Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema during the 1990s and early 2000s. She was widely appreciated for her performances in villainous roles, light-hearted comic characters, and vibrant song sequences, often appearing alongside some of the most prominent names in South Indian cinema. After marrying businessman and hotelier Shaji Shahul in 2001, she took a break from acting to focus on family. She returned to television in 2019 with the Tamil serial Rasaathi on Sun TV. In 2023, she re-entered the limelight through Cooku with Comali, where she emerged as the second runner-up. She later participated in Bigg Boss Tamil Season 7, making a milestone as one of the few senior artists to survive nearly 100 days in the house. Vichitra remains a familiar and admired face, loved for her vibrant screen presence and versatility.
