Besides her Film and TV credits, Chriselle Almeida is a classically trained thespian with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Acting from The University of Connecticut. Chriselle worked in Theatre Off Broadway and Regionally on the East Coast before moving to LA to pursue on camera work. Shakespeare will always be her first love: Favorite roles include playing The Nurse in Romeo and Juliet and Maria in Twelfth Night.
Chriselle is fluent in Hindi: Speaking, Reading and Writing.
Chriselle mastered the Japanese Suzuki Technique (Tadashi Suzuki) which she finds invaluable.
Another asset that Chriselle considers sets her apart, is the training she received from notable Voice, Diction and Dialect Coach, Dr. David Allen Stern. Besides her now natural Standard American accent, Chriselle can easily revert back to her native Indian cadence. She is just as comfortable adapting a British dialect.
Due to her training and experience, Chriselle is able to switch from traditional roles to those of modern American with ease-and can play various genres with confidence.
