- An avid Paul McCartney fan, she nicknamed herself Jo Jo after The Beatles' song "Get Back" when she fan-mailed him.
- Groupie who had affairs with Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Rod Stewart and Randy Rhoads. Cream's drummer Ginger Baker was quoted as saying: "No sane man would go near her.".
