Biography

Kyra Owers is an award-winning filmmaker and editor from Co. Cork. She studied Film for two years at Cork College of FET: Douglas Street Campus where she honed her skills by being involved in many film productions and is continuing her academic studies in Film at University College Cork in her Final Year. She is very passionate for the Cork independent film scene and supports it through her involvement with The People's Picturehouse Cork, UCC Film & Photography Society, Cork University Film Festival, and Indiefront. Kyra is also a Student Member of the Irish Film and Television Academy in its Directing Chapter and mainly specializes in Directing, Editing and Script Supervising.
