Sasha King is an award-winning Director, Producer, and CEO of Princess Pictures Ltd. Princess has been producing films since 2005. Sasha's directorial debut was AKRON released in 2017, which won 11 festivals, is distributed by Wolfe, released on Hulu and is referred to as 'revolutionary' in LGBTQIA filmmaking. It can be found in public library collections across the USA through Kanopy. In 2020 Sasha directed the film Vicky, which was nominated for an ICCL Human Rights award. Vicky won the Film Critics award at its premiere in 2022 at Virgin Media Dublin Film Festival and is distributed by Volta Pictures. Princess Pictures runs a Post-Production facility, invests in films, and is a recognized and established Irish production company that can access the Section 481 Irish Tax Credit for International productions filming in Ireland as well as Irish productions filming in Ireland. Sasha is also a global Financial Controller/Production Accountant on multi-territory productions managing global spend, recent productions include, Bodkin for Netflix and the Obamas company Higher Ground, Freud's Last Session starring Anthony Hopkins and The Boy that never was, shot in Morocco and Ireland. Princess has a slate of projects in various stages of production.
