Melanie Ramos(XI)

Melanie Ramos is a Puerto Rican actress, artist, writer, director, and producer best known for creating and portraying the demonic horror hostess character Melevill. Melanie is the only active Puerto Rican horror host. She was born in the South of Puerto Rico as a strange bird in a strange world, and has been known to have the kind of sassy personality that many femme fatales and damsels in distress display in the archetypal plots of classic pulp stories. As a modern-day Renaissance woman, her talents extend beyond acting and producing. She's also a dancer and co-creator of Neo-Pulps! Publishing. As of 2025, she is busy working on her upcoming series of novelettes, "Melindra and The Damned" (a work of syncretic horror), her micro-budget film "Melevill's Tales From Hades", and promoting her short stories found in the independent bestselling anthology series Neo-Pulps! (available on Amazon), and her horror hostess web show "Melevill's Hades Theater" on YouTube. She lives somewhere in New England with her husband/editor and manager, Will Valent.
