- Made his Major League debut with the Cleveland Indians on September 9, 1974. Played twelve seasons in the Major Leagues, eight seasons with Cleveland and four seasons with the San Francisco Giants. Is currently the play-by-play man on Giants television broadcasts along with former Giant Mike Krukow.
Hit one home run in his Major League career. - Cousin of Dick Bosman.
- Inducted into the Racine County [Wisconsin] Sports Hall of Fame in 2011 (inaugural class).
