Duane Kuiper was born on June 19, 1950 in Racine, Wisconsin, USA. He is an actor, known for The Last Thing He Told Me (2023), Pitch (2016) and A Call to Arms: The 1990 Oakland Athletics & San Francisco Giants (1990).

His home run call, "He hits it high, he hits it deep, it is outta here!"

Made his Major League debut with the Cleveland Indians on September 9, 1974. Played twelve seasons in the Major Leagues, eight seasons with Cleveland and four seasons with the San Francisco Giants. Is currently the play-by-play man on Giants television broadcasts along with former Giant Mike Krukow.

Hit one home run in his Major League career.

Cousin of Dick Bosman.

Inducted into the Racine County [Wisconsin] Sports Hall of Fame in 2011 (inaugural class).
