Leticia is a Brazilian writer fascinated by people and their journeys. Since she doesn't have the patience to become a psychologist, she decided it was best to create her own patients and "help them grow at her rhythm." She enjoys writing comedy-dramas.
Her dream is to create a beloved villain like Hades (Hercules) or one as relatable as Walter White (Breaking Bad). She loves finding the right setting to create heroes and villains people can't forget while telling an entertaining story.
Her short "Judge, Jury, Latina Fury" follows Maria da Silva who has been sentenced to Anger Management therapy. She risks destroying her family if sentenced to prison, and an intervention is needed. Ana, her daughter, decides to hijack the therapy session, bringing her shutdown dad, Paulo, along. She hopes that being forced to stay in the same room for an hour will trigger a long-overdue conversation. Will the therapist help Ana wake her dad up and break her mom's facade before it's too late? Can they ever go back to being a family? Or should Ana accept her fate in foster care? The short film is in post-production and will be part of the festival circuit in 2026.
