Eakin launched Eakin Films & Publishing in 2003, and is a publisher of star-narrated audiobooks, movie tie-in books and author 3D stage events, as well as a producer and executive producer of films. He partners with top entertainment stars, major publishers, Audible.com, event producers, theater chains (3D stage shows), movie studios, and producers.
Eakin produced the official audiobook for Academy Awards Best Picture "12 Years a Slave" narrated by Oscar-winner Louis Gossett, Jr., (12YearsASlaveBook.com). He is also a past recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
