Arielle Winemaker is a Canadian actor working across film, television, and commercial projects. She grew up around film sets and was drawn to storytelling and the creative process from an early age, but for a time, self-doubt kept her from pursuing acting. After a period of significant personal change, she returned to the craft with a renewed sense of purpose and has been committed to it ever since.
Since beginning her professional acting career in 2023, Arielle has worked across short films, independent productions, television, and commercial projects. She became an ACTRA Apprentice after booking her first union television role on the series Doc, just months after signing with her agent. She continues to build her experience through ongoing acting classes and private coaching.
Arielle is particularly drawn to action, thriller, and dramatic roles. She loves portraying strong, powerful female characters and embracing the confidence, strength, and physicality they allow her to explore. She is equally drawn to dramatic work for the opportunity to delve into complex emotions, access vulnerability, and remain grounded and present in emotionally demanding moments. For Arielle, acting is not only a creative pursuit but also a way of continually discovering more about herself, both as an actor and as a person. She approaches the craft with curiosity, openness, and a genuine desire to grow.
Outside of acting, Arielle explores her creativity through music, songwriting, singing, and guitar. Music provides her with another outlet for processing emotion that feeds back into her creative work. Arielle also has a longstanding interest in martial arts and currently trains in Muay Thai, embracing both the physical challenge and the opportunity to push her limits. She hopes to eventually bring that physicality into her acting through stunt work and action-based roles.
