A natural performer from a young age, Shiraine grew up immersed in the arts. She trained in ballet and tap, and also professionally performed African and Caribbean dances. At home, she and her sisters delighted in staging musical plays for their family, an early sign of her passion for storytelling and performance.
She is best known for her role as Mrs. Baldwin in Mary J. Blige's films: Real Love, Strength of a Woman, and Family Affair.
In 2024, Shiraine married actor Dalias Blake.
