- Halit Ergenc was born in Istanbul in 1970. After graduating from the Opera and Musical Theatre Department of Mimar Sinan University, he began his acting career. Throughout the years, he appeared in "Red Istanbul," directed by Ferzan Özpetek, and in Asif Kapadia’s film "Ali and Nino." He gained international recognition for his performances in "1001 Nights", "The Magnificent Century, "Babil", "Wounded Love" and "Lovers Anonymous". He is currently performing on stage in Death of a Salesman, produced by Zorlu PSM Productions and directed by Rufus Norris. With his strong stage presence and versatile acting, he is regarded as one of Türkiye’s most prominent actors.
