Rafael spent most of his childhood in Singapore, Hawaii and England. He holds British and French nationality. Rafael was cast in the lead role of Matt Hollow in The Third Parent along with Rob Lowe, Crispin Glover and Roselyn Sanchez. He played Robert, a "big 'un" in the 2025 BBC production of Lord of the Flies. He is represented by Alex Stockley at Hamilton Hodell.
