Fargol Masrourirad

Fargol Masrourirad is an Iranian director and screenwriter based in Tehran. With a background in architecture, she is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Tehran, where her dissertation takes an interdisciplinary approach to explore the intersection of cinema and architecture. She began studying filmmaking in 2018 and made her directorial debut in 2022 with the short film Hooves Beat, which was screened and awarded at several international film festivals.
