IMDbProStarmeterSee rank
Paul Killick is a professional Ballroom dancer, choreographer, coach, television personality, dance judge and world-class adjudicator whose award-winning and passionate performances have influenced the international sport of dance. Each of these roles has allowed the spirited and charismatic Paul to share the beauty and elegance of Ballroom and Latin dance with audiences around the world.

Hailing from the United Kingdom, Paul is one of the world's leading ambassadors for Ballroom and Latin DanceSport. He not only played a role in the development and creation of the phenomenon "Strictly Come Dancing" on the BBC in the UK, but he also appeared on seasons one and two of the acclaimed and wildly popular series, as well as its spin-off, "It Takes Two." Paul has choreographed a number of productions for both screen and stage, including "Unforgettable Boleros" with Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin, Celia Cruz and Ricardo Montalban for PBS, "Stephen Sondheim 75th Birthday Tribute Concert" at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London's West End, "An Evening of Ballroom Dancing with Paul Killick" at the Cadogan Theatre in London, and more.

A decorated champion dancer, Paul received the Ballroom Dancers' Federation "Most Outstanding Contribution to Dance" honor in both 1994 and 2004, and has won The World Cup, World Trophy, World Masters, World Series, Universal and British Professional Latin American DanceSport Championships on six occasions. Paul won countless international titles before he retired from competition in 2004, and today serves as a world-class adjudicator for a majority of the world's leading National and International DanceSport competitions.

Paul was appointed as the Director and owner of the prestigious Arthur Murray International flagship studio in Beverly Hills in 2012, lending his energy, coaching and choreography experience to the iconic, century old leader in Ballroom dance. Paul also serves as both coach and choreographer to many of Ballroom and Latin DanceSport's top champions and stars. He is a member of the World Dance Council, the National Dance Council of America and the British Dance Council.

Paul Killick was born to dance, it seems. From the age of 7, Paul attended a stage and drama school in his native UK where his talent began to bloom. He was invited to study at the Royal Ballet School in London, but decided to follow his dream and enter the World of competitive Ballroom and Latin American dance.

Representing Great Britain throughout the World in the divisions of Juvenile, Junior, Youth and Amateur, Paul triumphed and went on to win titles including The World, European, British, United States, Canadian, German, French, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Austrian, Italian, Dutch, Czechoslovakian, Hungarian, Polish, Scandinavian, Russian and South African Latin American DanceSport Championships, to name a few.

Following his retirement from competition, Paul went on to create successful, world-wide competitive DanceSport events including The Killick Klassik DanceSport Event in Palm Beach, FL, The Killick Royale Cup in Beverly Hills, CA, The World Pro-Am Stars and The World Challenge DanceSport Championships in Hong Kong.

His love of expression, design and dance led Paul to create The Killick Klassik with International Dance Shoes, one of the leading dance shoe manufacturers in the world. A shoe designed for the professional dancer, The Killick Klassic allows the dancer extreme flexibility, and in turn offers possibility of greater expression of movement. The Killick Klassik is one of the best-selling men's shoes of all time and has revolutionized the style of men's Latin dance shoes.

Throughout his career, Paul has had the honor dancing on stage, screen and for the Royal Families of Monaco, Japan, Denmark, in addition to the Prime Ministers of Germany, Finland, and Russia. His passion for Ballroom and Latin DanceSport is evident in all he does; Paul is constantly working to share his love of dance with audiences, students, colleagues and competitors alike.

Paul resides in Beverly Hills, California.
