Sophie von Rheden, born in Hanover, Germany, is a self-taught, award-winning writer living between Madrid and Palma. With a background shaped by life experience rather than formal film school training, she has channeled her passion for the arts into crafting thought-provoking stories. She is dedicated to nurturing emerging creative talent and fostering a sense of community within the indie scene.

In bringing her first film, Cialt, to life, Sophie took on the roles of writer, producer, and director. She assembled an extraordinary international team of talented creatives from India, various regions of Spain, the USA, and Germany. Together, they transformed her vision into a high-quality film-without a budget.

For her debut short film, she also wrote the lyrics for the film score, demonstrating her artistic versatility.
