(1991) Was producing the shelved film Indradhanush. Starring Sanjay Dutt, Kumar Gaurav. Producer Salim Akhtar and Shashi Ranjan signed Sanjay Dutt for this film but in the early 1990's, Sanjay walked out of the project, the reasons being contradictory as the withdrawal obviously didn't happen amicably. The project was cancelled thereafter. The film was to be directed by Raj N Sippy.

(1982) There was a shelved film Gardish (Earlier titled Bharosa) starring Dharmendra, Rekha, Rati Agnihotri, Zarina Wahab, Shashi Ranjan (replaced Vinod Mehra),Asrani. Lyrics by Gulzar, Music by Rahul Dev Burman, Produced by Channi Baweja, I.S.Shivdasani, Directed by Meraj. The film was earlier to be made with Rajesh Khanna and Zahira. It was shelved due to problems.

(2008) Directing the shelved movie "Mungilal Rocks"(2008) Starring Ranvir Shorey, Celina Jaitley, Boman Irani, Anupam Kher, Satish Shah, Rakhee Sawant, Johnny Lever, Gulshan Grover, Music by Roop Kumar Rathod,Produced by Syma Khan, Directed by Shashi Ranjan. It may have restarted as Dhoom Dhadaka.
