Erika Jordan is a sociologist, writer, and clinical psychology intern whose work focuses on the psychological and social forces shaping identity, relationships, power, and meaning in modern life.
Born in Ansbach, Germany and raised in Tucson, Arizona, she now lives in Southern California. Erika began her public career in entertainment, building an extensive body of film and television work, including After Midnight, Stretch, House of Lies, and Avalanche Sharks. She also spent a decade working with Playboy TV and appeared multiple times in Playboy Magazine, where she was recognized by Playboy and Maxim as one of the Top 100 Most Beautiful Women in the World.
After years in media, Erika shifted her focus toward the deeper psychological and cultural dynamics she had spent much of her life observing from the inside. Her work now centers on social behavior, attachment, power dynamics, moral systems, and collective psychology.
As of mid-2026 she completed a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University GSEP. Continuing her clinical training as a psychology intern on her way to a licensed MFT. Come fall 2026 she will start her doctoral program. Her approach integrates sociological analysis with clinical psychology, bridging individual experience and broader cultural patterns.
Prior to entering graduate training, Erika worked as a dating and relationship coach and became certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and health coaching. Through that work, she came to believe that coaching alone often addresses symptoms rather than systems, leading her to pursue formal clinical education and research with the goal of practicing at the highest professional level.
While archival content from her entertainment career continues to circulate, Erika is no longer active in acting or modeling. Her current work is dedicated to clinical training, scholarship, and public education at the intersection of psychology and society.
