Billy Smith is an actor and writer from Melbourne, Australia. Raised by a hairdresser and singer mother and a salesman father, he found a love for performance early on, trading AFL and athletics for music and drama. His first major role came in a high school production of Cloudstreet, where he discovered his passion for storytelling.
He trained at Melbourne's 16th Street Actors Studio during the 2020 lockdowns and graduated from WAAPA's Acting program in 2024. Stage highlights include Jakob Engstrand in Ghosts, David Andrews in Shadow of Doubt (a new Australian play by Rachel McMurray), and Orlando in As You Like It.
Billy co-wrote and starred in the award-winning short film 'Doof Bros' and has a strong interest in bold, character-driven work across screen and stage.
