Edward Hamilton(IV)

"Evil" Edward Hamilton was born to parents Edward J and Celeste Hamilton. His passions in life have always been for music, art, horror and medieval films and being a performer. In high school, he studied stage acting in Shakespearean and Medieval Literature as well as music in the high school band where he played four instruments. Throughout his youth, Edward has always been fascinated by movies of swords and sorcery but horror films, the macabre and urban legends of things that go bump in the night have always been his favorite genre. Even today, the neighborhood kids refer to him as the "Halloween Guy" because of his large decorative Halloween display every October. Every year, he always builds or crafts something new and unique to put on display for the Trick or Treaters to see.

Not long after graduating high school, Edward enlisted into the U.S. Navy and served a four-year tour as a Crypto Technician and can speak two other languages other than English.

For the next 20 years after his honorable discharge, Edward has been involved in different heavy metal bands as a bass guitar and keyboard player. His on-stage antics and personality only made him more than live up to his nickname "Evil Ed'. His "untamed wild side" would often attract fans and occasionally cause people in the crowd to move to the other side of the stage to stare at him in wonder. Many fans, even his own band mates could never tell where the stage persona "Evil Ed" ends and the man behind it, Edward begins. They would often comment that the two are on in the same, but they would sometimes keep guessing which is which. That's the way he's always liked it. but his closest friends, who know him best can testify that Edward has always been the quiet one who sits and listens and will go out of his way to help someone when needed and often gives without expecting anything in return.

During this time, he also studied martial arts and earned a high-level brown belt in Tae Kwon Do. He also joined a medieval living history enactment group and got in touch with part of his heritage, the Vikings where he learned and trained in the use of medieval weaponry and became a self-taught blacksmith. Edward further got in touch with Indigenous North American Culture by becoming a member of the Native America Coalition of the Quad Cities. Although part of his heritage is of the Island of Puerto Rico, Edward adopted the ways and language of the Oglala Lakota and proudly attends events to share in and represent the Native American culture.

Edward returned to acting in an independent film called Beach Zombies, a quirky horror comedy and the following year, he accepted two roles in another independent film called Mad Cow Massacre. It was during the production of Mad Cow Massacre, Edward began to write his own script and story line to his first film he would produce, direct and act as a main character, Lunar Spell. He quickly learned the ropes of independent film making and made new friends along the way. His character, Eric Corvin, reflects a lot of Edward's own personal experiences of loss, broken heart and battling with alcoholism and it was always his dream to be in a horror film involving werewolves in one way or another. Along with his passion and love for the story line he wrote for Lunar Spell, he also used his talents and a painter and composer, painting the movie cover illustration, composed most of the musical scores and crafted some of the werewolf pieces for the makeup effects.

Edward is married to Carrie Hamilton and they have two children together, Elizabeth and Landon.
