Jeanie Miller is a filmmaker, writer, and director known for her darkly introspective storytelling and genre-bending approach to psychological thrillers. After years of teaching middle school, she stepped behind the camera to create her own work - writing, directing, and editing the R-rated short film The Wig (2024), which she also produced on a shoestring budget. The film marked her festival debut and established her voice as both bold and unflinching, with sharp tonal shifts and unexpected emotional depth.

Miller followed up with projects like She's Over It (2025) and The Cat House Chronicles: Otis Stirs the Pot (2024), each expanding her range as a creator with a distinct aesthetic-equal parts unsettling and weirdly tender. Her upcoming multimedia project, The Forgotten Files, blends immersive storytelling across TikTok, podcasts, and narrative fiction, marking her as a boundary-pusher in the hybrid story space. She is currently (2025) developing Splinters, a psychological thriller feature, and actively building a branded series of hybrid novel-screenplay projects that explore themes of memory, sacrifice, and collective silence.

In June 2025, Miller joins the crew of two new independent productions in key roles as a script supervisor and sound recorder, continuing her hands-on education in every part of the filmmaking process. Whether on set or in the edit bay, she brings a director's precision and a writer's instinct for human complexity.
