An accomplished producer committed to collaborating with artists to craft transformative stories, Annette's select producer credits include Vive la rose (2009) (2010 Sundance), The Boxing Girls of Kabul (2012) (2011, IDFA and CSA for best documentary short), Hard Light (2012) (2012, FIFA Jury Award), Danny (2015) (2014, Hot Docs Big Ideas series), Gun Runners (2015) (2015, Hot Docs), Theater of Life (2016) (2016, Berlin), Hand.Line.Cod (2016) (2016, TIFF), Love, Scott (2018) (2018, Hot Docs, BFI Flare, Inside Out, One World), Wintopia (2019) (2019, IDFA, Hot Docs and Colin Low award) Assholes: A Theory (2019) (three CSA 2021 nominations), How to Be at Home (2020) (2021 TIFF Top 10) and Love, Amma (2022). Most recent productions include the feature documentaries A Quiet Girl and Seguridad. As executive producer for NFB's Quebec Atlantic studio until 2021, Annette envisioned an ambitious slate of short form and feature documentaries, animation, and interactive story telling across a rich and large territory. 2022 marked Annette's return to independent production with Ruby Line Productions Inc. and is in development with a feature documentary, feature drama and limited television series.
