Biography

Hassan Mir (Muhammad Hassan) is a Pakistani-British actor. Who primarily works in Urdu-language television. He is known for his role as Kashif in Hum TV's Raqeeb Se (2021), directed by Kashif Nisar. Also known for his role as Sam in Bloop (2017) and portraying Hassan in the British short Film Dear Jamie (2025). He's highly adaptive to every character he gets to play and dwells into the role as living it in real time to bring the essence of the part to the surface.

Hassan Mir was born into a Kashmiri family in Lahore. He is the son of Sufi Nazir Ahmed, a former businessman who performs the Mosque's regular service. Hassan Mir got a MBA degree from the University of the West of Scotland, London. He also serves as the University's Film Society President in London.

In 2015, he made his acting debut with street theatre. He appeared in various stage productions, then had uncredited roles in television serials and comedy shows. He has been working for TV and short films for a couple of years now. He's making his way through the challenging industry by believing in himself and made a cameo appearance in Hum TV's Raqeeb Se, directed by Kashif Nisar.

Hassan Mir plays as Kashif in Raqeeb Se, the love interest of Ameera and the son of Maqsood. Also plays the love-struck Yasir in Jeevan Nagar (2023), directed by Kashif Nisar. He represents the daily struggles of a young man who does not have a career, and prospects are not too bright in this society, but he loves with a full heart, and no one seems to understand that. This was aired on Green Entertainment.

In 2025, he made his international debut with the British short film Dear Jamie.
