Bob Watson was born on April 10, 1946 in Los Angeles, California, USA. He was an actor, known for The Bad News Bears in Breaking Training (1977), Brewer's Boys and No No: A Dockumentary (2014). He was married to Carol Lefer. He died on May 14, 2020 in Houston, Texas, USA.

First baseman and left fielder for the Houston Astros (1966-1979), Boston Red Sox (1979), New York Yankees (1980-1982) and Atlanta Braves (1982-1984).

Attended Fremont High School in Los Angeles, California.

While in high school he played catcher on a Connie Mack team with several future major league players.
