Rhea Ranavat is a South Asian actress based in New York City and Mumbai. She is known for playing Tina Maia in Hulu and ABC’s true crime series Betrayal: Secrets & Lies and was recognized by the Astoria Film Festival for her performance as Samiha in To Love.
Born and raised in Mumbai, Rhea grew up immersed in Bollywood’s bold, emotional storytelling. After a 15 year career in finance in New York City, she left the corporate world to pursue acting full time. She has trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, Atlantic Acting School, Stella Adler Studio of Acting, T. Schreiber Studio, The Freeman Studio, HB Studio, and The Kimball Studio.
Rhea is fluent in English and Hindi, performs with authentic American and Indian accents, and is trained in Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Bollywood, and contemporary dance.
