Mariana Norton was born on April 28, 1980 in Lisbon, Portugal. She is an actress and director, known for The Thief, His Wife and the Canoe (2022), Maluda (2021) and Amor Maior (2016). She has been married to Bruno Santos since 2012.

She also does theater and she is also a singer.

Daughter of José Norton and second wife writer Cristina Norton and older sister of director José M. Norton.

First cousin once removed of actress Bárbara Norton de Matos.

Half-sister of Maria de Matos Chaves Norton de Matos (b. Lisbon, 7 November 1973, d. 19 November 1989) and Margarida de Matos Chaves Norton de Matos (b. Lisbon, 27 February 1976), a painter.

Of English descent.
